Barbera design, was founded at the end of 2003 by Daniel Barbera, an honours graduate from Monash University, Industrial designer, who specialises in fitting out interiors with furniture.
Daniel first started playing with design as a child, in his fathers workshop, influenced by his fathers love of creating, art, furniture, objects and fixing things. Barbera’s product ethos works around logical design outcomes, and are process orientated working with old industrial processes and craftsman, to deliver timeless quality furniture.
Since 2004, Barbera has exhibited at Launch Pad, Vivid, the Edge, Ready Made Market, Fringe Furniture, My Name is House, Under Capricorn, Pop Ups, and Saturday Indesign. In 2004 Barbera exhibited 'Crooked Shady' at Fringe, and won the lighting award.
